vodafone nz are a bunch of tossers, I had the same issue, they wanted to charge me $30 per 15 minutes to tap this in, I just wanted the information to put in myself

Have you tried 3G from Android 2.1?
some how, 3G (HSDPA) works fine on 1.6 devices but not on 2.1 devices including Galaxy S.
even though I have full signal, I am getting missed calls and very late SMSs.
This seems to happen when I am moving from A – B (i.e. when AP changes)

Any one with the same Problem?

Thank you for these settings. I have a Samsung Galaxy s and these worked well on my phone.

Yep these are the settings for Android 1.5/1.6 devices. I’ll see if I can get the settings for a 2.x device…

Just trying to set up my Galaxy S and these don’t work.

With Android 2.1 there is no MMSC Null option, just Not Set,
and no APN Type:default (so I’m using Internet).

Thanks for this, I’m glad to find it. Like you said, Vodafone is totally useless when it comes to this issue. I’m actually not in NZ at the moment but I’ll definitely be trying this. I’ve got an HTC Dream and want to continue using it. Sure I could get the Magic, but I like having the option of a physical keyboard as well.

@Crytos Interesting they work just fine for me (under 1.5 and now 1.6)…

I’m pretty sure that the MMSCs are only visible to the 3G network so I’m very surprised that you could send MMS via WiFi…

Is you data connection working? Can you browse the web ?

Sorry mate, these settings don’t work.
They used to work on my G1 dev phone running android 1.5 and even then it would only send MMS’ when on WIFI (even though the 3G or G symbol would appear during sending).
Just tried these and can’t get it to send on either just 3G or connected on WiFi :( it’s a sad sad day for NZ and Android lol.
